Mr. Godman thought that I have thousands of people with their folded hands who listen to my bakwaas anyway so why not sneak in my 2 cents about the #delhigangrape
Asaram Bapu ranting that the girl should have fallen down on the rapists feet and pleaded by calling them brothers .. and he goes on to rant that it is girls mistake to fight with the rapist rather should have cried and pleaded.... Hmmm Mr. Godman after thinking a lot I guess you reached very close but wrong usage of words and anyway the public will think one track since there is a single view... moment you think differently..media and youth will gobble you up.... ab society mein bhi to rahna hai.
Now let me do a little post mortem of his comments... pls note disclaimer is that this is my view and I seriously condemn Delhi gang rape and want severest punishment for them.
although we have been gushed with emotions and brimming with tears since we heard about the whole incident which has led to so much public anger on streets with candle protest march and demanding justice. We are demanding safety and stricter laws and asking to change mindset and change in society and I hope we embibe these changes more than be part of these protests which might be a peer pressure responsibility and fashion for a few
Asaram Bapu has actually put in a very practical way of thinking to the whole episode,but sadly worded in wrong construction of sentence although crux of his comment is that , in practicality of anything the girl could not have fought 6 drunk people( I respect and appreciate her valour fight with 6 men ), she gave a brave fight and did her best in whatever way to teach some lesson to those assoles ... but shouldnt there have been a practical presence of mind way out of the whole thing
She could have shouted mercy and asked them as brothers... I am goddamn 100% sure atleast 2 of those drunk men would have sprung into bollywood action and would have sidded the girl to save her...
I am sad about the whole episode hence before I learn and resolve of the learnings I am completely broken inside to know as to what happened to that girl... wish some practicality or some presence of mind could have averted the whole thing... :'(
One crazy presence of mind comes to my mind... A girl should carry chillie powder.. one touch dial numbers.. guns.. knife... blah blah... but there is one thing.. scream and presence of mind which is important.... shout loud that you have AIDS and do it on your own risk.....
